2019 Update: Clintord I has joined the stallion roster at Wild Turkey Farm in Oregon, a world class facility that specializes in the breeding of warmblood show jumpers.

We imported the licensed Holsteiner stallion Clintord I as a young 8 year old to the US in mid 2011 as a future international level Grand Prix prospect. He brought with him sterling credentials: winner as a 3 year old of the Holsteiner 70-day stallion testing with scores of 10 in jumping, and already a popular sire of more than 600 foals in Europe. His education as a show jumper in Europe had been delayed due to his high demand in the breeding shed. Since his arrival in California he moved steadily up the ranks and is now competing successfully at the 1.60 meter level where he can begin display his enormous scope and stride. Multiple high placings in FEI World Cup qualifying classes and the 2014 Thermal AIG $1 Million.

Clintord I is descended from the finest Holsteiner lineage.  His sire Clinton I was a highly successful international show jumper, two-time winner of the Swedish Derby, 2nd in the World Cup competition at Oslo, multiple wins in Nations Cup competitions, as well as high placements in significant Grand Prix classes including Aachen, Aahus, Dortmund, Bordeaux, Helsinki and Berlin. Total winnings exceed  200,000 Euros with rider Thomas Voss. Two full siblings of Clinton I have won at Grand Prix level and S *** level. Six offspring of the exceptional mare Waage, dam line 4965, have been successful at the German Young Horse Championships. The actual estimation of Clinton’s breeding value is 150 points. Clintord’s dam Miss Monica carries the top blood of Caletto I and Lord. Great grand dam Hilgunde and Caletto I provided the Holstein stallion Cambridge, line 1947. For years Cambridge has sustained a top position in the FN estimation of breeding values.

Clintord I confirms his excellent jumping pedigree by exhibiting outstanding ability and technique. He completed his 30 day performance test with an overall score of 8.58 and in the discipline of show jumping he achieved a score of 9.36. Afterwards he was the winner of the 70-day performance test with a show jumping score of 146, including several perfect scores of 10 for jumping technique.

Clintord I is a beautifully balanced stallion combining elegance with power, scope and stride. As well he has an intelligent and willing temperament and is a gentleman in the stable. This extraordinary stallion is now accessible to North American breeders. Highly sought after as a breeding stallion in Europe, his offspring are now approaching maturity and we have spotted several beautiful athletes via YouTube. We are especially proud of his three year old son, Clifton Ask, who was awarded premium and champion of the jumping stallions in the December 2012 Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing. And new accolades go to his daughter, Celebrity T, who just topped the three year old mares in the Katrinelund Danish Warmblood Jumping Performance Trials in October 2013.  Check out the videos below of Clifton Ask, Celebrity T,  and some other handsome offspring sired by Clintord I as examples of the quality and athleticism he is capable of siring.

  3. Hello team off ccw Farm,

I follow The stallion Clintord for several years, for i am 1/2 owner of one of his ofspring. A 5 y old gelding from clintord x levantos (same mother line as Mr. Blue) See your own video
i think it’s a very promesing GP Horse.
He has everything a GP horse should have
He is 100% healthy, very easy to handle, most cool in the head ever, lots of scope, a gentleman in the stable and in trailer, truck and in every other circumstances.
He is jumping now 1.00 m but he is getting all the time and patience to grow relexed and fully in hight and muscles. Now he is already 182.cm in hight
His other 1/2 owner and rider, Tess Krabbe, Dutch Champion in 2012, who also owned rides and sold Zip Code…. now Puertas So What to Mexican y rider Juan Pablo Gaspar has full confidence in him to bring him at international 140-150 level.
You can find another you yube film off him under clintord x levantos before auction in 2012.

if you are interested i can send you videos of Eastwood (his sportname in holland) from his coming competitions.
Eastwood is not for sale, Tess loves it to ride international 140/150 competitions and he can make it true for her.

    Friendly greetings from Holland:

    Mario Krabe.

    • Hi Mario,
We are thrilled to hear from you. It’s always a delight to hear good reports of Clintord offspring. I looked back at the old video and Eastwood certainly does look elegant and athletic. And it sounds like he inherited Clintord’s awesome temperament as well. We would very much appreciate it if you would share his show videos with us – both now and in the future. Clintord has a fan club whose members would also enjoy hearing about the success of his offspring. I’ll send you a personal email with my contact info.
Best of luck for future success to you, Tess and Eastwood!

  4. Good evening,
I was wondering what Clintord’s stud fee is? I photographed him at LEGIS on Saturday night (LA Equestrian center).

    • Hi Bob,

Clintord’s stud fee is $2,000 fresh semen, live foal guarantee. However availability can be affected by his horse show schedule. Frozen is $700/straw, no guarantee. I think you already saw this page, but just in case: it has links to his pedigree and also some videos of young offspring in Europe that are making a splash. Let me know if you need more information.
